Being happy might make you live longer

New research conducted by a team from University College London has found a strong correlation between happiness and reduced risk of premature death.  Nearly 4,000 participants were followed for five years.  “I was a bit surprised that the happiness effect was so strong, even among people who had chronic diseases,” says lead author Andrew Steptoe, professor of epidemiology and psychology.
