Can being “age-friendly” save the economy?

Dr John Beard of the World Health Organization (WHO) thinks so.

He spoke at a recent conference in Chicago and urged the United States to work towards becoming a global leader in transforming the way society views older people and the aging process.

The WHO’s guide to Global age-friendly cities identifies the core features necessary for these changes to occur.
