Raw fish, vegetables and green tea the key to Japanese women’s longevity

New research has indicated that the healthy diet of many Japanese women, particularly the raw fish, vegetables and green tea that feature heavily, considerably contributes to their longevity.  Japanese women have one of the highest life expectancies in the world, living for an average of 86.4 years.  The UK’s Office for National Statistics says that women of other countries could experience similar levels of longevity if they adapted a similar diet.
