Touching elbows helps us keep going

As we continue living with the Covid-19 pandemic, touching our loved ones may be one of the most significant aspects of life we are still living without. Grieving for our past social lives may have given way to resignation, yet the need to touch remains. A doctor working in California, Dr Leif, writes for the Greater Good Magazine about how elbow touches are keeping him going and suggests it may be a way for us to include a little bit of human contact in our very isolated lives.
