Age UK announces its 2013 policy agenda

Following its annual review of how society is “meeting the needs of people in later life,” Age UK published its 2013 Agenda for Later Life report.  Measuring the quality of life via the categories of money and work; health and care; and travel and lifestyle, the report states that “there has rarely been such a difficult period since the Second World War to be pursuing a better later life.”  However, the Age UK team says that it remains optimistic that there will be opportunities available to help reach its goal – a vision of a world where older people flourish.  Read the full report.
