Age UK searching for 2012’s internet champion

Published Oct 20th 2011

You or someone you know could be Age UK’s next internet champion!  Nominations are open until 18 November.  The criteria? “Ordinary people (aged 55+) who have learned to use the internet, and think others in later life should know about it too.  Champions and runners up will use their own experience of how the internet has changed their lives for the better, and the IT skills and confidence they have acquired, to inspire others in later life to get online too.” You can apply on-line here.
