Increase in numbers of working pensioners

Figures from the Office for National Statistics show that 12 per cent of older people are now working, a rise of 85 per cent in 20 years. This increase could be the result of a mix of several societal changes, including improved health and wellbeing, financial pressures and the desire to remain active as they live longer.  A full article is available from The Guardian here.
