In its one year progress report, the Age Action Alliance network reports “overwhelming support from over 250 members from diverse public, private and voluntary sector organisations.”  The Alliance was set up by Age UK and the Department for Work and Pensions in response to a request from the Social Justice Cabinet committee.  The Alliance’s goals are to promote partnership working and practical action to improve the later years of life.  Read “Improving older people’s lives… together.”
